Terms and conditions
These terms set out the basic rules for using the VCA Portal, its educational content, the contact form and future access packages for the VCA course.
Rules for using the portal
Review the basic rules for using the portal, educational content, your account and access packages.
VCA courseGeneral provisions
The VCA Portal is an educational portal related to learning workplace safety principles and preparing for VCA topics. The portal includes information pages, SEO articles, educational materials, a contact form and links leading to the course.
The VCA course, lessons, questions, quizzes, mock exam, error review and progress panel operate in the separate vca-learning plugin. These portal terms do not move course logic into the vca-portal plugin.
Educational nature of the materials
Materials published in the VCA Portal are educational and supplementary. Their purpose is to explain more clearly topics related to workplace safety, safety signs, protective equipment, risk assessment, fire and explosion, and preparation for VCA study.
The portal, articles, course and mock exam are not an official VCA/SCC examination and do not issue an official VCA/SCC certificate. The course application may provide a VCA-ZHH Portal educational preparation or course-completion certificate, which serves only as confirmation of study within the platform.
The VCA Portal does not guarantee passing the official examination or obtaining an official VCA/SCC certificate. Official requirements, dates, languages and examination rules should be checked with the relevant examination body or organiser.
Access packages and offer options
The VCA-ZHH Portal platform may offer different access packages for educational materials, tests, revision, mock exams, company packages and access codes.
The scope of a package, its price, access period, user limit, activation method and availability are shown on the offer or purchase page before payment is made.
Individual packages
Individual packages are intended for people preparing for the VCA exam at their own pace. The offer may include, in particular, Last Minute, Standard, VCA Premium and other individual options shown on the purchase page.
Retake package
A Retake package may be offered to people who did not pass the VCA exam and want to return to study, tests and error review without buying a full package again. The detailed scope, access period and conditions are shown with the relevant package.
Company packages
Company packages are intended for companies, agencies and teams that want to provide employees, trainees or candidates with access to VCA exam preparation. The offer may include Company Start, Company Standard, Company Plus and an individual offer for larger companies.
Group revision before the exam
The platform may offer revision packages for groups preparing for a VCA exam. These packages may include intensive revision, tests and a quick refresh of knowledge before the exam. Available variants, participant limits and access periods are specified with the relevant package.
Access codes
The offer may include VCA access-code packages that a company or ordering person can provide to employees, trainees or candidates. Each code activates access to the online platform in accordance with the conditions shown for that access-code package.
Information shown for a package on the purchase page, in particular the price, access period, user limit, material scope, availability status and activation method, forms part of the offer applicable when the order is placed.
Changes to packages, promotions and offer options
VCA-ZHH Portal may temporarily change, extend, withdraw or update available packages, promotions and offer options. Such changes do not affect user rights arising from an order placed before the changes were introduced.
User account and access
If access to the course requires a user account, the user is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for keeping login details confidential. Login and account pages may be handled by a separate plugin.
Access to a package may be time-limited according to the description of the relevant option. After the access period ends, course functions may be restricted or blocked.
Sharing access with third parties, bypassing security measures, copying materials for further distribution and using the portal in a way that disrupts the website are prohibited.
Payments and prices
Package prices may be stated in euros or another currency indicated on the purchase page. The final price, package scope and access period should be visible before an order is placed.
Payments may be handled by an external payment provider. Details of the provider and available payment methods will be shown when sales are launched.
Preparing a package as a draft, optional or future offer does not mean that the package is already publicly available.
Withdrawal from the agreement and digital content
The online course and access materials may constitute a digital service or digital content supplied electronically. The rules on withdrawal from the agreement depend on applicable law, the nature of the service and the information and consents provided at purchase.
If the user agrees to immediate performance before the statutory withdrawal period has expired and is informed of the consequences of that consent, the right of withdrawal may be limited in accordance with the applicable rules.
Detailed information about withdrawal should be presented to the user before purchase, especially once active payments are launched.
Complaints and contact
Complaints or reports concerning the operation of the portal, contact form, access or payments may be sent to info@zhhbv.nl or through the contact form at /contact-vca/.
A report should include a description of the problem, an email address for the reply and, where relevant, information that allows the order or user account to be identified.
A reply will be provided within a reasonable period, taking into account the nature of the report and the technical information available.
Liability and limitations
We make efforts to keep the content understandable and updated, but the portal does not replace employer instructions, health and safety regulations, a workplace-specific risk assessment or official examination materials.
Users should always follow the rules applicable at the workplace, instructions from supervisors, safety procedures and the current requirements of the examination organiser.
We are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of educational materials without taking into account actual working conditions and the appropriate procedures.
Intellectual property
Texts, the arrangement of materials, graphics, course elements and other portal content may be protected by copyright or other rights. Users may use them for their own educational purposes.
Without the portal owner's permission, materials may not be copied, distributed, sold, published or presented as the user's own work.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the portal develops, including when payments are launched, packages change, user accounts are added, new languages are introduced or legal requirements change.
The current version of these terms is published on this page. Questions about the terms may be sent to: info@zhhbv.nl.

Important information
These terms are a draft prepared for the current portal and package model. Before payments are launched, the terms should be reviewed legally and aligned with the actual purchase page.
